Action Family membership
This constitutes all children and youth who are under the mentorship of UGANDA YOUTH DEVELOPMENT NETWORK. These shall always be individuals below the age of 18 or when they are still in school. Their membership shall not be conditional once they are registered in the programs of UGANDA YOUTH DEVELOPMENT NETWORK but they are not eligible to take part in organization elections.
Honorary membership
The Board of Directors, in their absolute discretion shall have powers to nominate a person as an honorary member of the Organization and resolution later approved by the General Assembly. Whoever is honored shall subject to the consent of the nominee and become an Honorary Member of the Organization through formal writing. In exercising its discretion herein above, the above committee members shall consider what a particular individual has contributed to the Organization.
Ordinary membership
Any individual who,
- Satisfies the criteria of membership. and
- Makes a commitment to actively participate towards extending the vision, mission and objectives of UGANDA YOUTH DEVELOPMENT NETWORK
Rights of Ordinary members
i. Each ordinary member has one vote during the election and appointment of the BOD at the Annual General Meeting.
ii. Any corporate body which is an ordinary member of the Organization will have one vote during the election and appointment of the BOD at the Annual General Meeting.
iii. Ordinary members are mandated with the responsibility to ensure that the organization objectives are implemented.
iv. Any ordinary member of UGANDA YOUTH DEVELOPMENT NETWORK is entitled to attend or participate in any organization social gatherings, incase such events aim at promoting the interests of the organization.
Associate membership
- Any individual who is not a Ugandan citizen at the date of application and demonstrates a commitment to the objectives of the Organization but does not meet the criteria for ordinary membership may apply for associate membership of the organization
- Any corporate body which wishes to support the Organization in pursuit of its objectives, but does not otherwise meet the criteria for ordinary membership, may apply for associate membership of the organization, but they are not entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting.
Corporate members
Any corporate body which is a professional or CBO/NGO/Charitable organization and has similar objectives of UGANDA YOUTH DEVELOPMENT NETWORK, nominated and determined by the BOD, may apply for corporate membership of the Organization.MembershipM
The major aim is to take the lead
to stop AIDS, poverty and respond to health hazards. The organization
wants to participate in several activities including poem, traditional
folk song, traditional dance, creative dance, designing on its
materials, refracting the above theme.
